Big success for the Cannes Film Festival on France Télévisions


The exceptional media device deployed on France Télévisions Group channels in partnership with Brut. between 17 and 28 May show the public service’s commitment to the cinema: live opening and closing ceremonies on France 2, 50 films broadcast, a daily magazine on Culturebox, three dedicated programs, numerous reports and documentaries.

An audience success for France Télévisions with 28 million viewers reached during the Festival and a historic record for the closing ceremony.

Outstanding performances for Roland-Garros on France Télévisions


France Télévisions confirms its position as leader and historic media partner of the French Open. The expanded editorial offering has enabled the France Télévisions Group’s channels to achieve excellent results: nearly 42M French people tuned in, i.e., 73% of the population, the best ratings since 2012, with an increase of 3.3M viewers compared with 2021.


42M of viewers watched Roland-Garros programs.


1.9M viewers on average for the afternoons on France 2 and 20.6% audience sharethe best average audience since 2015 and the best audience share since 2008.


4.6M for the Nadal-Ruud men’s final and 39.4% of audience sharethe best ratings since 2012, with a peak at 6.4M.


19.7M video views on our platforms (france.tv, app francetv sport et franceinfo), an increase of 4% compared with 2021, the best performance since 2019.
